Hello, I just wanted to mention that if you attempt to upload a vido file that is larger than the alotted amount, The application no longer tells you that your video is too large. It actually appears that your video is being uploaded, and then a high slide pops up that has says a browser error. It is a bit confusing when you are going through it.

I created this for our getaway / hunting location in Hillman, MI. Click here to view our hunting cabin.
Be sure to check out the trail cams for pictures of deer, bear, and elk.

This unfortunatly is a google limitation as far as I know.
Try using the zip code instead.

charrae,

I totaly agree with your 4 points.

When you do a search you can get this information from the explorer panel.
The explorer panel will give you hospital, dining and shopping locations.

I like the main attractions idea. The only thing close to that is the Events button on the control panel.
But I will look into getting main attractions listed in the control panel.

Having Main attractions would help in planning a trip. Thanks for the idea.

Here are a few things I wish I knew before traveling:

1. Closest hospital/medical facility for those unexpected children emergencies that always come up while on vacation
2. Dining locations
3. Shopping locations
4. Main attractions

I was searching for Shelby Twp., MI but was returned with Shelby on the west side of the state.

I happened to know a city near Shelby and entered that in the "Where would you like to go? field. I "Set Explore Center" on the map and could then interact with the pop-up bubble and venue directory to find businesses.

What can I do in the future if I am not familiar with the area?

1. Under "Where would you like to go?" type the City, State, Zip, Address or Monument
2. Click Go
3. Click the explore button
4. In the Explore Panel select the button for the desired media.

You can also change your location by typing in a new destination in the Explorer Panel and clicking Go.
